After-school Program (2018)
Our after-school program consists of multiple "modules" spanning the course of two to three months, based on festive and fun "Lightning in a Bottle" (LIB) type themes, including:
Drawing & painting
Music (vocals & instrumentation)
Yoga & meditation
Arts & crafts
The modules will be taught by two lead teachers, focusing on their interest and expertise, with a third teacher on reserve. When one module is completed, instructors will rotate and begin a new topic.
We aspire to inspire children to live happy and fulfilling lives as well as encourage their contributions to the overall health and well being of their communities and local environment. Our goal is very similar to the LIB's mission statement from their website.
Our after-school program will operate from Monday through Friday, 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. (1:00 -7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays). Upon growth and further development, we will extend hours from morning to early afternoon to accommodate for preschoolers and home-schooled children.
We will provide safe and dependable transportation from your child's school to Lascaux Academy. Parents can pick up their students any time before 7:00 p.m. Target schools are within San Carlos, Foster City, and Belmont school districts.
