Camp description:

Is one of your goals for 2021 to have more you time? Or maybe you are looking to tap into your creative side and discover new ways to express yourself visually? Treat yourself to this four session workshop to fend off those winter blues and learn a lifelong skill while socializing within a positive and encouraging environment. 


Each week we will explore a different technique which focuses on teaching you not only the basics of collage, but also how to tap into your imagination and intuition to create one of a kind art works centered around your unique vision. 


Experimentation is encouraged!

Camp Requirement:

No prior art making experience required to participate.

Material list:

- Scissors

- Mixed-Media Paper Pad, 7x10 or 9x12 inches

- Glue stick

- Clear-drying liquid glue, Aleene's Collage Pauge preferred, Mod Podge is also good.

- Foam or flat shape soft bristle brush, 1 inch wide

- Several magazines- Try to find those containing images you are drawn to. Fashion, home decor, travel magazines, newspapers, and catalogues are always fun choices.

- Two or more sheets of tissue paper- two or more different colors.


Feel free to bring any other materials you would like to incorporate into your collages- photographs, scrapbooking papers, stickers, glitters, gemstones, gel pens, markers, or paint pens are great additions, but not required.
