COMICS (M - F 9A - 12P, for age 5.5 - 15, hand drawn and digital)
INSTRUCTOR Susan has been a well-loved instructor at our school for years. She
designs lesson plans based on students' interests and skill levels.
Susan will show students how to design cartoon / manga caricatures of
Japanese, American and European styles. She will also show students how
to tell their exciting stories by drawing step-by-step.

8/5 – 8/9 Comics Cartoon on Canvas Create cartoon characters and explore a variety of media and papers to work on. Complete a final master piece on a canvas.

8/12 – 8/16 Caricature and Chibi Design (Only 3 Spots Left) Draw or create your own caricature design, from you favorite characters or even yourself! Learn to draw Chibis – a Manga family that has similar features to caricatures.

8/19 – 8/23 From Character Creation to Storyboarding Draw cartoon characters and learn storyboarding – the first step to creating TV commercials or animated movies such as Disney or Pixar.
