                                                   FEATURES OF OUR PROGRAM

Our program is suitable for both Mandarin and non-Mandarin speakers. Our environment can soothe students that dislike large-size class and prefer more relaxing, nurturing learning environment in order to keep their interest in language and achieve more efficient learning result.

Class is on quarterly enrollment. The first class is scheduled to start at Saturday 3 – 5pm (for age 5 – 12) from January 2010 on. We will open Saturday 5 - 7pm for intermediate level and other sessions based on students’ levels, age groups and demands at anytime. The first class is scheduled to start on Saturday January 9th, 2010 (2 – 4pm). The first quarter is the best timing for students because the instructor is able to give students much more extra attention!

Students will be learning listening, speaking and writing skills in Mandarin. Our seasoned instructor combines games, Chinese culture and role-play into structural instruction to make Mandarin easy and fun to learn. Instructor Ms. Zhang records class instruction and emails parents to help non-Mandarin-speakers review at home (recording option might not be available at times pending on instructors).

Instructor Ms. Zhang is a native Mandarin speaker proficient in English. Ms. Zhang has Bachelor degree in English from Shanghai University of Foreign Languages in China and Master Degree in Education from University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Ms. Zhang is an assigned professional translator for Chinese Writers Association. She has decades of teaching experiences in English and Mandarin. Ms. Zhang adjusts her teaching style based on students’ level and needs.
