 Instructor Barbara Golden | Instructor Barbara Golden is an enthusiastic, creative and caring instructor. She enjoys working with children and teenagers. She has taught cartooning for 8 years in Germany at several art schools and opened her own school in 2005 near Stuttgart, South Germany. Ms. Golden strives toward helping students find their potentials and offering them right approches. Barbara's published works:

Age groups: Students are encouraged to attend their own age groups. If not, we separate age groups by lesson plans and work stations. Instructors will try to help students of different skills levels.
Projects range from designing cute animals, stylish caricatures, backgrounds, story-board, one-page or multiple-page comics, depend on students' interests and levels. Styles range from American, European and Japanese cartoon and comics - including cute and realistic styles. Instructors will provide samples and inspire students to develop their own styles when ready.
Session: Monday 4 - 6pm (age 8 - 15, starting from July 11th, 2011)
Students that cannot make it to the scheduled comics class may attend our mixed-media art class (Tuesdays through Saturdays) and choose to focus on comics projects. Instructors will assign students comics lesson plans.

More teachers needed Our studio is equipped with computers for computer-based art and/or comics/manga instruction. We are recruiting more professional comics/manga instructors for our free-hand and/or computer-based comics/manga class. Cartoonists experienced in teaching kids age 6 - 16 caricature design, story-board and comics-book production are welcome to apply!
